Obviously the advertised free/pay zones should be included, but what about misconfigured routers that are left open?

I was sat on the bus on the Gloucester Rd in Bristol the other day and picked up over 300 wi-fi signals over the course of about a mile using wi-fi-fo-fum on my iPhone many of which were open for connection – some of which may be configured this way deliberately, others by mistake (or at least I’m assuming the network with the SSID ‘Seriously, change the dfefault password on this’ wasn’t supposed to be called this

Yes, somebody else pointed that out to me too. I’m considering contacting them with a view to adding it, but I’m wondering whether it would be better to have a fresh one so that we have uniformity accross the site? Difficult to know, i think!
